Australia Day Book Giveaway Blog Hop

I'm taking part in the Australia Day Book Giveaway Hop, which is being hosted by the very awesome Book'd Out and Confessions from Romaholics. Up for grabs are autographed copies of my novels Being Abigail and Best Forgotten. Both novels are, of course, completely brilliant (or maybe I'm just biased). You can enter the competition via the rafflecopter widget below.

Staying indoors, avoiding the sun and bogans with flags. Both of these are especially difficult tasks in WA.

Hi,

I'm a Queenslander who is basically 'riding out the storm' literally.

I thought yesterday was bad, but today is positively Biblical!!

I worked until lunch time (at non-public holiday rates).
Picked mangoes off the tree before the wind and rain hit.
Cleaned the house in preparation for family and friends coming on Monday for a BBQ celebration.

I'm a plumber and I had to do an emergency hot water unit replacement for a client in Brisbane. Got drenched from the rain because of the wet weather in South East Qld, but have a happy customer who will have hot water tonight!

Wow, thanks to everyone who commented and/or entered the competition. Seems like we had a lot of rain on the east coast of Australia and lots of people relaxing and enjoying their days off in other parts of this awesome country.

Pleasing to see that I had visitors from overseas as well as Australia.

Tara is our lucky winner. Congrats!
